Survey Work

Project contractors for Commonwealth Wind will be conducting survey work for the project’s onshore design beginning on Monday, September 11, 2023 in Barnstable, pending final scheduling. Survey work will take place during daytime hours and will last approximately 3-4 weeks.

This survey work will entail data collection on roadway drainage infrastructure and will include traffic impacts and the attendance of a Barnstable police detail. There will be no digging or road closures involved with this survey work. This work will take place on the following roadways:

• East Bay Road from the Dowses Beach Causeway to Wianno Avenue

• Wianno Avenue from East Bay Road to Main Street

• Main Street from Wianno Ave to Osterville/West Barnstable Road

• Osterville/West Barnstable Road from Main Street to Old Falmouth Road

• Old Falmouth Road from Osterville/West Barnstable Road to Old Stage Road

• Old Stage Road from Old Falmouth Road to Oak Street

• Oak Street from Old Stage Road to Service Road

• Service Road
